Chaya, 19 years old, uses all pronouns but has lately prefers she/her. She's not exactly human,
but she's not exactly not human, either. Currently studying botany, does amateur modelling on the side.
Has many friends but none of them close. When things get tough, Chaya will hide in bed - for days on end
if necessary. Smokes irregurlarly. Seemingly running from something. (Even if there is no apparent
threat. But the past can be so good at haunting it becomes more than just a ghost.)
Can you make up for your mistakes by doing other good things? Can you be absolved from taking one life by
restoring another? A lot of the plants die, anyway. Botany is a skill that takes time to learn.
Chaya has not lived here for a long time, she used to live on a spaceship. But she's here now. This
is nicer, even though it's a lot of work; keeping track of an entire house, cleaning, making sure the
plants don't die. And on top of that, going to school and making friends, too. Dissappearing would be
easier. But she won't! Life can be so beautiful at times, it's better to stick around. Don't think about
whether you deserve to, or not.
It's easy to become someone you are not. Replacing a person is easier than you think. Just dye your hair,
make an effort to smile, and think before you speak. Forget who you were. Do whatever you need to. Be made new.
Apparantly, people knew the other girl so little, taking her place was easy. And they all love Chaya now.
Floated to earth and landed softly on a beach covered in snow. Everything is
cold and covered in layers of frost. Somehow it's comfortable.
