"Signs and symbols. Jacques Derrida help me I'm getting mad asf"

-> Derrida outlined the difference betwee signs (a factual thing) and symbols (what he humans call the thingm and how we interpret what we call it) and I feel like some days I feel exactly, very closely what the link between a sign and a symbol is, (on those days I write poems but some days the two seem so far removed from eachother. And the words I use have so many layers behind them that I can't communicate and no one who listens to me can recognize. Often I feel like words have more meaning than we consciously attribute to them. Maybe I'm also a little neurotic. That's okay.
